How To Naturally Clean And Repair Wood

Anyone who has toddlers knows they can take a toll on your wood furniture! These days mine is looking pretty rough! So I went on the hunt for a FRUGAL way to repair it and I found a pretty amazing way! I found this great tip on Lily & Thistle. Her before and afters blew my mind! My before and afters do not even do my furniture justice! You have to see this for your own eyes! Here is what you need:

3/4 cup Vinegar

1/4 cup Canola Oil

Mix and dab you rag in the mixture wipe across wood and that is it! My furniture was BAD so it took a couple treatments, but I was amazed at the difference! Here are my before and afters! Be sure to pin and let me know what you think! The best part this is a SAFE alternative to wood cleaners! Because my kids can not keep their food off my coffee table!!

  13. I’ve used vinegar and oil on wood before too, but the measurements were the other way around, 3/4 C oil and 1/4 C vinegar.

  14. These are not the same pieces of wood. The bottom two have rather large notches in them.
